The US Agency for International Development (USAID), arranged public-private community discussion titled 'Greater Dialogue for a Greater Cause’ in Dhaka on 3 December 2016 at Hotel Radisson Blu. The purpose of the event was to make an empowering stage for the private division to coordinate ecological insurance objectives into their plans of action, and bring issues to light and supports for saving tigers and their healthy, natural surroundings, the Sundarbans mangrove woods.
The event drew government policymakers, business leaders and representatives from the donor community and civil society unitedly to set the grounds for a sustaining leadership within the private sector to support conservation of tigers and the Sundarbans. Environment and Forests Minister Anwar Hossain Manju, Environment and Forests Secretary Dr Kamal Uddin Ahmed, Director General (Admin) of Prime Minister's Office Kabir Bin Anwar, Chief Conservator of Forests Md Yunus Ali, Deputy Office Director and Environment & Global Climate Change Team Leader of USAID Bangladesh Nathan Sage, the Executive Director of Bangladesh Centre for Advance Studies (BCAS), Dr A Atiq Rahman, WildTeam's Chairman Enayetullah Khan, and WildTeam's Chief Executive Officer, Dr Md Anwarul Islam, attended the dialogue amid others.
