The Department of Economics and Social Sciences (ESS) of BRAC University organized Economics Undergraduate Thesis presentations on November 17th at Indoor Auditorium of BRAC University. The event was lively and discussion based, where presenters where asked multiple rounds of questions by the audience - which included insightful questions from the acting Chairperson Abdul Bayes and Dr. Wasiqur Rahman Khan and other ESS faculties. The presenters brilliantly answered their respective questions and queries and all the presentations were highly praised and congratulated by the audience at the end of the event.
Undergraduate Thesis (ECO499) is a 6(six) credit elective course Economics programme. This course was offered this Fall ’16 after five years. The following five theses were presented at the event and the theses advisor was Dr Farzana Munshi.
