Nasrin Ahmed Tahrim, an alumnus from School of Pharmacy, BRAC University and former Teaching Assistant at School of Pharmacy, BRAC University was awarded a fully funded scholarship at the University of Helsinki, Finland. She competed against numerous international applications in a challenging environment. The University of Helsinki ranks among the top 100 universities globally, or in the top 0.5 percentile and top 40 in Europe.
She is doing her Master’s in Pharmaceutical Research, Development and Safety under the faculty of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences which is ranked amongst top 50 in 2022 according to the Shanghai Ranking, or the Academic Ranking of World Universities (ARWU). In 2022, researchers of the University of Helsinki produced a total of 11,123 publications. The number of refereed scholarly publications was 8,522, of which 56% were drawn up through international collaboration.
